On August 9, 2024, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) held a conference to review Party work, production, and business in the first 6 months of 2024; review 3 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive 05; 5 years of implementing Resolution 281 of the Group’s Party Committee; 2 years of implementing Resolution 272 of the Corporation’s Party Committee and a thematic meeting entitled “One Team – One Goal.”
The Conference overview
In attendance were representatives from Petrovietnam, including Mr. Le Xuan Huyen, a member of the Party Committee Executive Board and Deputy General Director. PVFCCo was represented by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, along with other key executives.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa highlighted the challenges faced by the Corporation in the first half of 2024, including a highly competitive fertilizer market and rising input costs. Despite these difficulties, PVFCCo has made significant strides toward achieving its targets, thanks to the collective efforts of its employees and the implementation of various strategic initiatives.
The meeting also featured reports on the Party’s work, which focused on strengthening Party building, promoting the Party’s leadership role, and fostering a strong corporate culture. The Corporation has made substantial progress in its production and business operations, surpassing many of its targets.
Participants discussed the successful implementation of the Politburo’s directives, including the ongoing efforts to study and follow the thought, morality, and style of President Ho Chi Minh. The meeting also addressed the Corporation’s commitment to sustainable development and its role in contributing to the national economy.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Le Xuan Huyen from Petrovietnam commended PVFCCo’s achievements and emphasized the importance of adapting to the evolving energy landscape. He urged the Corporation to develop a more robust strategy to address the challenges and opportunities presented by the energy transition.
In closing, PVFCCo reaffirmed its commitment to the “One Team – One Goal” principle and pledged to continue striving for sustainable growth. The Corporation also recognized outstanding individuals and teams for their contributions to the organization.
