On December 2, 2013, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) received an appreciation letter from Can Tho University’s Rectorate Board for awarding Phu My Fertilizer scholarships to students overcoming difficulties to record good academic and practice achievements.
The Rectorate Board expresses their honor and happiness to PVFCCo’s interest in their students. Reportedly, PVFCCo recently awarded 1 full scholarship, 3 Honor scholarships, and 32 consolation scholarships worth 242 million VND to Can Tho University’s students.
Previously, on November 29, PVFCCo also received an appreciation letter from Tran Thi Kim Chi – a senior student majoring in Industrial Management, Faculty of Technology, Can Tho University. Kim Chi shared: “I feel very lucky and happy to receive this noble scholarship. For me, it gives not only material incentive but also great spiritual consolation, which helps me overcome any challenge in my life.” “Despite of busy activities, PVFCCo has taken profound interest in students overcoming their difficulties to study well, and offered us meaningful gifts….” Kim Chi continued: “The scholarship will help me cover study expenses, boost my confidence in myself and my future. I will always make good efforts in study in order to deserve the noble heart and trust of the Company and the Scholarship Organizer for us.”
Reportedly, Kim Chi is from a farmer family, her parents are old and all their four children are of schooling age, their family life is extremely difficult. In the last awarding of Phu My Fertilizer scholarships for academic year 2013-2014, Kim Chi was offered a consolation scholarship worth 5 million VND.
