On November 12, PVFCCo in collaboration with leaders of People’s Committee of Quynh Thach Commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province organized the inauguration ceremony for the Classroom Building of Quynh Thach Commune Primary School.
Attending the program were Mr. Ho Duc Phuoc, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of Nghe An Provicel People’s Committee and the leaders of Quynh Luu District, Nghe An province; in addition, Petrovietnam was represented by Mr. Nguyen Huu Nhat, Social Security Board and Mr Pham Tran Kien, Deputy Head of PVFCCo’s Marketing and Communications.
The construction works was built with a total investment of VND 5.337 billion, of which VND 5 billion was funded by PVFCCo from PVFCCo’s Social Security Fund 2012. The Classrom Building of Quynh Thach Commune Elementary School is two-storied building, with 12 classrooms and total usable area of over 900 m2, meeting the study needs of more than 560 students enrolled annualy at this school. After nearly 07 months of construction, the buididing in operation has a great meaning in dealing with classroom shortage of Quynh Thach commune primary school – a commune in near-poverty status and with a lot of difficulties in Nghe An province. The works is part of PVFCCo’s annual sponsorship activities for the community and for future of youth generation of the whole country in general and Nghe An province in particular. So far, PVFCCo has funded more than VND 22 billion to implement social security programs for the community in Nghe An province. Through the program, nearly 10,000 people have been benefited and received practical and timely help from sponsorship packages and supports provided by PVFCCo.
