April 23th 2011, in Hochiminh city, Petrovietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and Ministry of Vietnam Agriculture and & Rural development (MARD) co-organized the “Fertilizer market stability and Phu My urea distribution effectiveness enhancement” seminar at which Mr. Dinh La Thang – Party’s member & PVN’s Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Khang – Vice President of PVN, Mr. Bui Ba Bong – Vice Minister of MARD, Ms Ho Thi Kim Thoa – Vice Minister of Ministry of Industry & Trade and representatives of Ministry of Finance, department of Economic sector (the Government Office), representatives of member company, divisions and wholesalers, outlets attended. At the seminar, representatives of Ministries presented solutions related to fertilizer market stabilization, regulating between supply – demand balance, developing distribution network, effective Government managerial. Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) also presented about PVFCCo’s roles in fertilizer market stabilization, emphasized building the network of storage, transportation and distribution, upgrading market forecasting activity, promoting communication as well as flexible sale policies… The seminar also witnessed sharing, opinions about advantages and disadvantages in fertilizer business operation of wholesalers and they wish to companion with PVFCCo to help the farmers in developing Vietnamese agriculture.
