On January 09, 2014, PVFCCo’s task force led by Mrs. Le Thi Thu Huong – PVFCCo’s Vice President, visited and worked with the Western Highlands Agriculture & Forestry Science Institute (WASI).
Welcoming the task force were Dr. Truong Hong – Vice Director, Dr. Nguyen Van Thuong – Vice Director and some officials of WASI.
At the meeting, both sides drew summary on past cooperation programs basing on the memorandums signed earlier. The two sides also agreed that in the future, PVFCCo and WASI would continue cooperation in research activities, especially in the field of fertilizers, crops such as: research on particular NPK formulas for Pepper trees, Cocoa trees; fertilizers that help increasing drought-tolerance on Coffee tree, fertilizers for corns, foliar fertilizers…Also, they would co-ordinate in carrying out the presentation models on Pepper trees and other technical support programs at the same time.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the model of water-saving irrigation on Coffee trees.
On the same day, the Delegation also visited and worked with Minh Tan outlet – level 1 outlet in the Central – Western Highlands, PVFCCo Central Branch in DakLak.
