Attendees of the Meeting, from the customers and counterparts in chemical industry, were Mr. Ngo Huu Hai – Standing Vice President of PVEP; Mr. Tran Van Vinh – Chief Engineer of Vietsovpetro; Mr. Nguyen Quynh Lam – General Director of Bien Dong POC; Mr. Ha Van Bich – General Director of Thang Long JOC; Mr. Edgar Rodriguez Baker Hughes – Director of Baker Hughes Vietnam and over 500 other chemical customers. The attendees from PVFCCo were Mr. Le Cu Tan – Chairman; Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – President and CEO, and other members of the Board of Directors, Management Board, and representatives of PVFCCo’s affiliates.
In the morning of 31 October 2014, the counterparts visited the Oil and Chemical Products Factory in Dong Xuyen Industrial Park, Vung Tau City. This Oil and Chemical Products Factory, the construction works deployed from the Cooperation Agreement between PVFCCo and Baker Hughes, is the first chemical product factory invested by a subsidiary of the PetroVietnam Oil and Gas Group to manufacture and provide special chemical products to the oil and gas companies in Vietnam. Built by the end of 2013 in Dong Xuyen Industrial Park, Rach Dua Ward, Vung Tau City, the factory was invested with VND 15 billion. Its total area is approximately 4,000 m2, of which the workshop takes up 1,200 m2 and the remaining area is used for production management, warehouse, offices… With an output of 25,000 barrels/year, equipped with modern machines and equipment imported from Japan, Germany and USA, the factory meets Baker Hughes’s strict requirements for processing and production of special chemical products, and evaluated by Baker Hughes Global to meet their standards on equipment, technology, laboratory, safety equipment for fire fighting and prevention, and environmental protection. The factory currently provides chemical products to the oil and gas companies in Vietnam’s southern region and its estimated annual turnover is VND300 billion.
In the evening of the Customer Meeting event, PVFCCo’s development in chemical industry was introduced to the customers, simultaneously, the Company expressed its deep gratitude for their past supports and promised to develop and perfect its production and business for better services. In return, PVFCCo’s customers and counterparts highly evaluated the products supplied by the Factory and hoped to maintain lasting cooperation with the Company.
During the Meeting event, exciting friendship sports activities were also organized and valued gifts from the lucky draw were given by PVFCCo to its customers and counterparts.
