On December 3rd 2016, in Ba Ria Vung Tau, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) successfully held PVFCCo’s Chemicals Customer Conference 2016.  Attendees included Mr. Nguyen Sinh Khang – Vice President of  Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN); Mr. Le Cu Tan – PVFCCo Chairman; Mr. Doan Van Nhuom – PVFCCo President & CEO and representatives of Divisions, member units of PVN and PVFCCo, especially over 60 customers trading PVFCCo’s chemicals.

On behalf of PVFCCo’s Leadership, Mr. Le Cu Tan said that PVFCCo’s chemical production and trading sector made significant progress in both quality and quantity: NH3 Plant, Petrochemical Plant, UFC85 Plant, etc. were always in stable operation, promptly supplying specialized and high-quality chemical products to customers. Especially, given the general situation of the industry, PVFCCo made efforts to share difficulties with other units in the industry by providing specialized petrochemicals at competitive prices to upstream businesses namely Bien Dong POC, Lam Son JOC, Hoang Long JOC, etc. Mr. Le Cu Tan expressed sincere gratitude to PVN’s care and support, the customers’ co-operation and committed that PVFCCo would continuously make improvements on quality and services in order to serve customers better.

Addressing the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Khang highly praised PVFCCo, for its efforts in the chemical sector over the past few years apart from success in fertilizer sector, affirming PVFCCo’s brand in chemicals, step by step improving PVFCCo’s full functions, duties and missions as specified in its name. On behalf of PVN’s Leadership, he confirmed that PVN would always support and facilitate PVFCCo to strongly develop the chemical sector to suit its ability and customers’ expectation. Also, he suggested PVFCCo keep implementing and improving its strategy and orientation for efficient and sustainable development.   

On this occasion, PVN’s Vice President also briefed the Conference on PVN’s production and trading situation in 2016. Despite the year full of difficulties and challenges, especially with the oil price tumble, many member companies have completed their assigned annual plan ahead of schedule.  PVN’s general success included significant contribution of PVFCCo in maintaining stable production output and always upholding the brand position and customers’ affection.

In the Conference, PVFCCo also honored typical customers in the chemical sector and held many meaningful sports and music performance activities.
