October 15, 2022, in Hanoi, the signing ceremony of the agreement between PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology took place. The opening of the Research and Development Laboratory of specialized fertilizers and the Chemical Technology Laboratory sponsored by PVFCCo.
Attending the ceremony, on the side of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, there was Mr. Le Xuan Huyen – Deputy General Director of the Group; on PVFCCo's side, there was Mr. Hoang Trong Dung – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, Mr. Ta Quang Huy – Deputy General Director of the Corporation. On the side of the University of Science and Technology, there were Dr. Nguyen Quan – Former UV of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Science and Technology; Associate Professor Huynh Quyet Thang – Rector of the University and other leaders of the school.
After a period of urgent and serious discussion and work, the cooperation agreement between the two units was signed at the ceremony marking the comprehensive cooperation in the field of training, recruitment, and human resource development. force; Scientific research, technology transfer, and digital transformation between PVFCCo and Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Trong Dung shared that at PVFCCo, there are nearly 60 employees who are alumni of the University of Science and Technology, many of whom hold important positions in the Board of Directors as well as in the operation of Phu My Fertilizer Plant. and expressed his pleasure that the cooperation between the two sides from today will be raised to a new level. PVFCCo will be able to support the school in training, improve facilities, exchange experiences, and create conditions for students to practice at PVFCCo's factories. Meanwhile, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will research new products, transfer technology, and exchange science as the basis for PVFCCo's long-term development.
At the ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Huyen expressed his appreciation for the cooperation relationship between the Oil and Gas Group and its member units and the Hanoi University of Science and Technology in the past time. He also hoped that the newly signed cooperation agreement program would be a connecting link, tightening this relationship and the parties would actively implement the contents to achieve the highest efficiency.
Also on this occasion, the University of Science and Technology announced the decision to establish and launch a liaison committee for Polytechnic Alumni at PVFCCo. This will be a bridge to share information, support each other as well as play an important role in accomplishing the goals that PVFCCo – Polytechnic University signed a cooperation agreement.
During the program, the school and PVFCCo also visited and attached a sign to inaugurate the Research and Development Laboratory of Specialized Fertilizers and the Chemical Technology Laboratory sponsored by PVFCCo with a total value of 2 billion VND.
