On June 24, 2021, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemical Corporation (PVFCCo) and Phu My Fertilizer Plant cooperated with the Center for Diseases Control of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province conducted the first phase of Covid-19 vaccination for the production team to ensure the health of workers and maintaining normal operation of the Phu My Plant.
On June 24, 2021, 200 employees received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine AstraZeneca. The vaccination process is carried out right in the area with facilities and conditions that fully meet regulatory requirements.
Phu My Fertilizer Plant is one of the oil and gas industry units, and Ba Ria – Vung Tau province is given the priority to vaccinate is because the Plant produces about 2,450 tons of Phu My Fertilizer daily and nearly 1,000 tons. High-quality Phu My NPK to serve farmers nationwide.
By noon on June 25, 2021, all injected workers had normal reactions; no special cases of anaphylaxis were recorded after injection.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung, Chairman of the Factory's Trade Union: "This massive operation is from the support of leaders of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, the Corporation and the Phu My Fertilizer Plant, staffs were very excited when they received the first injection. Focus on labor, dedication, focusing and sticking to the production line, continues to supply fertilizer in time for the country's agricultural industry”.
A few days ago in Hanoi at the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, 28 Northern PVFCCo employees were also vaccinated. Up to now, everyone's health after the injection is guaranteed; the spirit is very secure and excited.
