On Dec 17, 2011 at Quy Nhon University, PVFCCo celebrated a ceremony to grant 2011-2012 PVFCCo Scholarship for students following universities in Central provinces including: Da Nang University of Technology, Quy Nhon University and Tay Nguyen University.
Present at the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Sinh Khang – Deputy General Director of PVN, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – PVFCCO’s President & CEO, Mr. Cao Trung Kien – PVFCCo Central’s Director, professor Nguyen Dinh Hien – Vice rector of Quy Nhon University and professor Ta Xuan Bay – Head of Academic Affairs Office, Tay Nguyen University. This granting event honored 62 students coming from 3 universities in central region. PVFCCo has awarded 3 Honor Scholarships (VND 20 million/student/year) and 59 Encouragement Scholarships (VND 5 million/student/year).
PVFCCo Scholarship is offered annually to students who have outstanding academic performance at colleges and universities nationwide. In this 2011-2012 school year, PVFCCo has financed total VND 4 billion for the scholarship program presenting 635 students in 20 different colleges and universities.
