Derived from the actual need to manage the team remotely in the context of social distancing under Directive No. 16 and to meet the requirements of organizing remote operations effectively. On August 31, 2021, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) organized a course on "Remote team management skills." The course is streamed via Zoom to the Board of Directors and the Project Management Board.
Speaking at the opening of the course, Mr. Le Van Quoc Viet – Deputy General Director of the Corporation, emphasized that organizing a remote team management skill class is necessary and valuable in the context of social distancing. The course will equip more skills for executive managers, organize remote work in the most effective way.
At the session, the students were taught by Master – lecturer Pham Vu Xuan Bang the following topics: The shift to remote management; The factors that make a manager successful when running a remote team, and especially 4 essential tasks to help the remote team become effective (Establishing work management structure, connecting the team, etc.) remote team, how to organize online meetings for groups and individuals, develop remote employees). The class was built with many practical exercises, practical application to PVFCCo's management before and after social distancing, the transition from direct management to remote management, and other necessary skills.
