PVFCCo's goal is to maintain a stable supply of Phu My fertilizer during the severe outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic.
From July, 2021, PVFCCo mainly focuses on supplying fertilizers for the industrial crops in the rainy season, late Summer-Autumn crop, Autumn-Winter crop and vegetables, fruit trees…in different regions of the country. Due to the re-emergence of the Covid-19 epidemic, the production, transportation of goods, handling, loading, and unloading … of PVFCCo faced many difficulties.
However, with PVFCCo employees' efforts and the excellent coordination of distributors and partners, along with forecasting, organization, and careful preparation of raw materials. PVFCCo and regional companies have ensured the supply of Phu My fertilizer in production, import, and control. With a large scale and system of wholesale warehouses and transshipment warehouses, and at the same time, well complied with regulations on epidemic prevention and control.
In production, PVFCCo's operation team has implemented "3 on-site" from June 2021, so the plant's output maintains maximum design capacity. The processes that are greatly affected by the epidemic are handling goods by ships that import acid, potassium, SA materials, and transportation. PVFCCo has applied many measures of cargo transportation, increasing shipping by sea or riverway, flexibly coordinating wholesale warehouses' storage capacity, transshipment warehouses, and direct delivery to distributors.
In the first 6 months of 2021, PVFCCo has supplied nearly 670,000 tons of fertilizer. It is expected that in August-September 2021, PVFCCo will continue to produce about 160,000 tons to the market, actively contributing to ensuring supply for Vietnam's agricultural industry.
