On 27/8, the Inauguration Ceremonyof primary school and Handover Ceremony Great Solidarity Houses financed by PetroVietNam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo), with total construction value of 5 billion Vietnam dongs within the frame of social responsibility program 2017 – 2018 of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN), took placein Thang Long Commune, Kinh Mon District, Hai Duong Province.

The Inauguration ceremony of primary schoolis attended by Mr. Nguyen Vinh Son, Deputy Standing Secretary of Kinh Mon District Party Committee; Mr. Le Van Bi – Deputy Standing Chairman of Kinh Mon District People’s Committee; Mr. Ngo Xuan Phuong – Member of the District Party Committee, Secretary of Thang Long Commune Party Executive Committee; PVFCCo representatives including Mr. Le Cu Tan, – Secretary of Party Executive Committee, Chairman of  Management Board of PVFCCo and leaders of districts, communes and all residents, teachers, students of school.

The Inauguration ceremony of Thang Long Primary School took place on the occasion of celebrating the 73rd anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day 2-9 (1945-2018), welcoming new school year 2018 – 2019. Thang Long Primary School has been built since 11/2017, with total use area of 330 m2 including 8 classes in 2 floors. The classes are fully provided with necessary equipment, learning materials for students.

Besides Thang Long Primary School, PVFCCo also financed for construction of 10 Great Solidarity Houses in Thang Long Commune, with total sponsorship value of VND 500 million. On the same day, PVFCCo leaders and local government leaders directly handed over these houses for sponsored households.

Expressing his view in the ceremony, Mr. Le Cu Tan highlighted: “Along with completion of manufacture and business plan, with the guideline “responsibility – sharing”, PVFCCo is always aware of their responsibilities for community and actively participated in social responsibility activities such as: building house of gratitude, school, clinic, etc. He also expressed his belief that with the new houses, new school with enthusiasm and devotion of teachers, governmental agencies at all levelsand residents, Thang Long Commune will achieve outstanding contributions to building of new rural area.

On behalf of local government, Mr. Ngo Xuan Phuong expressed his sincere thanks to all PVFCCo staff for sponsoring a spacious and modern school before entering a new school year, as well as supporting to families with difficult circumstances in the local area. The governmental agencies at all levels, organizations and residents in the commune highly appreciate valuable contributions of PVFCCo staff to Thang Long Commune – a traditional land of revolution and learning fondness.
