On October 11-12, 2012, delegation of PVN and PVFCCo led by Mr. Vu Khanh Truong – Member of PVN’s BOD and Mr. Nguyen Hong Vinh – Vice President of PVFCCo joined the “Commercial Farm Asia” 2nd Conference in Yangon, Myanmar organized by Asian – Pacific’s Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO). Attending the meeting were Ministries and Agencies of the hosting country – Myanmar, international and national organizations as well as companies in agricultural sector. At the conference, participants presented and discussed on hot issues relating to the situation of the world’s food security, the poverty from countries to countries, especially in Asia, the solutions for current and future food crisis, as well as current situation and investment opportunities in agricultural sector in Myanmar.
Previously, in September 2012, PVFCCo placed a big advertising panel at the entrance to Rangoon Airport and kept exporting the testing shipments to Myanmar. With these new activities, PVFCCo has significant advances in the process of establishing and strengthening its presence in Myanmar – one of the target markets in international-oriented market strategy of PVFCCo.
