Binh Dinh Province – On November 11, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) held the Conference of Capital Representatives and Management of Finance, Capital and Risk Control in 2016. The conference assessed achievements of the representation performance and discussed arising difficulties as well as significant matters of business operations of member units in the year, which serves to assist representatives in performing their tasks and the corporation leadership in improving mechanisms, policies and regulations of the representation performance.
Attendants included Mr. Le Cu Tan – President of the BOD; Mr. Doan Van Nhuom – President and CEO, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien – Vice President of the BOD and members of the BOD, the Board of Management, the Supervisory Board, managers of functional boards of the corporation, Representatives at member companies and affiliates with contributed capital of the corporation.
Opening the main content of the Conference agenda, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien – Vice President of the BOD presented the Assessment Report of the BOD on Representation Performance in 2015 and the period of January to September 2016. Highlights mentioned in the report are: General assessment of the representation performance; the observance of orientations, policies, regulations of the corporation in the representation performance at units; Results of operations of member companies; Identification and management of several risks in the system of PVFCCo.Furthermore, the Conference continued with the Report of the Internal Audit Board on Risk Control, Prevention and Mitigation in Business; speeches by functional boards and Representatives at Companies on topics of: Measures for improving ICOR and risk control in trading non-urea fertilizers; Management of sales expenses, optimization of financial performance and protection of market share in the Central Region; Risks and measures in market approach for specialized products in the South East Region; Measures for management of inventory and receivables of the South West Region; Management and finalization of projects’ invested capital; affiliates. The attendants actively shared their useful and practical opinions and recommendations in order to help the Representatives and the Corporation to fulfill goals and plans of 2016 and the coming years.
During the Conference, the Corporation also proceeded with signing the authorization document between the Corporation and individuals representing the capital of the Corporation at member units in accordance with the regulations of representation, business operations of units and the laws, the Group, the Corporation.
In the directing speech at the Conference, the Corporation Leadership congratulated and praised achievements of Representatives of PVFCCo. Such achievements contributed greatly into the collective success of the Corporation.The Corporation Leadership alsoemphasized several key pointsand required representatives to overcome obstacles and proactively direct employees to accomplishgoalsof2016and the coming years.
