As part of the general program of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemical Corporation (PVFCCo) has implemented the program "Spring of love – Tet of Sharing" aims to contribute to bringing a warmer Tet to difficult situations in life.
In 2021, the raging Covid-19 pandemic put many families in challenging circumstances. With the culture of "Responsibility – Sharing," PVFCCo has dedicated its efforts and resources with the desire to join hands to bring a warm Tet to poor households across the country.
From the last days of 2021, PVFCCo simultaneously organized giving Tet gifts within the framework of the program "Spring of love – Tet of sharing" across the country. The first point of the journey was in Ho Chi Minh City, which suffered the most from the 4th Covid-19 outbreak. Despite being busy with year-end tasks, PVFCCo's leaders also arranged to attend the program with Labor Union directly, Youth Union, and employees to hand-deliver gifts to people.
One of the most emotional events during this program is probably the gift-giving ceremony for 315 orphans and children under challenging families due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic held at Youth Writers HCMC. Participating in the program, some children go with their father, some go with their mothers, but some children only go with their grandparents because their parents either went to work far away and have not returned or died during the recent epidemic. "We hope that the warm, loving feelings and gifts from the program will motivate them to strive to succeed in the future," said Mr. Tong. Xuan Phong – Chairman of Trade Union PVFCCo, shared at the program.
On January 25, 2022, the "Spring of love – Tet of sharing" program ended. PVFCCo has awarded over 17,000 gifts with a total value of over 10 billion VND. The program was held at 134 locations in 43 provinces/cities. During the implementation process, PVFCCo has consistently received the enthusiastic cooperation and support of the authorities, the Red Cross Society, and the local Fatherland Front Committee. The localities have very positive reviews for this program of PVFCCo. The gifts include cash and necessities with high value, practical meaning in people's daily life, along with thoughtful organization showing PVFCCo's dedication, and further highlighting the cultural beauty of "Responsibility – Sharing" in the core value system that PVFCCo has built over the years.
