HCMC, January 14, 2013 – Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo – DPM stock code) launched Phu My Fertilizer’s Scholarship program awarding 560 scholarships for students with outstanding academic achievement at 21 colleges and universities over the country in the school year of 2012-2013.
On January 14, 2013, PVFCCo would conduct awarding 88 scholarships to university and college students in the North with total values of VND 500 million dongs.
From January 16 – 23, 2013, PVFCCo will continue awarding to college and university students in the Central – Highland and Southern areas.
Phu My Fertilizer’s Scholarship in 2012-2013 with total value of 3.13 billion dongs includes 15 scholarships of Fame (20 million dongs/portion), 7 Full scholarships (20 million dongs/portion) and 538 scholarships of Encouragement (5 million dongs/portion).
The new point in the Scholarship program this year was its focus on honoring and supporting typical examples overcoming difficulties for good study results. Through this program, PVFCCo keeps performing its commitment to social responsibility, particularly the responsibility towards future generations of the country.
Phu My Fertilizer’s Scholarship Program (formerly known as DPM’s scholarship program) has been launched since 2008-2009, awarding 1500 scholarships with total values of 8,8 billion dongs up to now and being rated as one of the most valuable and meaningful scholarships.
