In an effort to better contribute to the propaganda and engagement in construction, firmly defending the sovereignty of the country’s island, on August 30th, 2011, the Party Standing Committee, Board of Management, Board of Director and Executive Committee of Trade Union had passed a letter to call for support “for beloved Truong Sa fund”. The letter was followed by donation ceremony held at the office of PVFCCo and member companies on August 31st 2011, which was live broadcasted from Hanoi, Quy Nhon, Phu My, and Can Tho. The ceremony at PVFCCo’s headquarter received the attendances of Mr. Ha Xuan Xu – Representatives of the Southern Naval Command, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – PVFCCo’s President & CEO, Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Thao, PVFCCo’s President of the Union and Chief of Board of Supervision, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien – Vice Chairman, members of the Board of Directors as well as all PVFCCo’s staff. Following the call of Mr. Cao Hoai Duong that well expressed the affection and responsibility towards the hometown’s islands and the naval soldiers who are protecting the sovereignty of the country’s island, PVFCCo’s staffs have actively responded and participated in raising the fund. 01 day after the call, the total amount of fund raised is VND 500,000,000 (Five hundred million VND), of which the staffs have donated VND 376,270,000. Although not large, the amount shown the affection and responsibility of each member of PVFCCo to the hometown and the naval soldiers who are protecting day and night the sovereignty of the country’s island. Then, on September 07th, 2011, the company’s task force led by Mr. Bui Minh Tien – Secretary of Party Committee & PVFCCo’s Chairman, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, President & CEO, have come to the office of Naval Command in Hai Phong city to directly hand over the fund of VND 500 million to “for beloved Truong Sa fund”. Mr. Dinh Gia That – Major General, Rear Admiral, Deputy Political Commissar of the Naval Command, on behalf of the Naval Command, received the money and express special thanks to the affection of all the leaders and the staffs of PVFCCo.
