The PHUMY brand name is inherited from “Phú Mỹ,” a name that has been deeply ingrained in the minds of consumers, customers, and partners for over two decades through products such as Phú Mỹ Urea, Phú Mỹ NPK, Phú Mỹ Potassium, and more. The name embodies prosperity and beauty. Over the past 20 years, Phú Mỹ has become indispensable to millions of farmers’ and customers’ lives. Transitioning to the PHUMY brand represents more than a name change; it reflects a vision of sustainable growth, market expansion, and readiness for a new era of development.
The new PHUMY brand identity is designed with a modern aesthetic. The two words “Phú Mỹ” are seamlessly combined into a unified block, with a handwritten font and unique colors. This is integrated with PVFCCo’s iconic flame logo, creating the corporation’s mother brand. The green-blue identity color combines green (fertilizers) and blue (chemicals), symbolizing freshness, modernity, and environmental friendliness.
A standout feature of the new branding is the stylized “Y,” capped with an orange-red dot symbolizing crops thriving under sunlight and humans embracing prosperity. This encapsulates the philosophy of putting people at the center, to foster prosperity for customers, partners, employees, investors, and the community.
The new PHUMY brand identity represents a steadfast commitment to innovation. The new branding has been implemented at the headquarters, Phú Mỹ Fertilizer Plant, subsidiary units, product packaging, and throughout the national distribution system.
In addition to the PHUMY name, the PVFCCo abbreviation and flame logo will continue to be used as per PetroVietnam’s regulations, particularly in international transactions, as they represent the pride of Vietnam’s oil and gas sector.
Since the launch of its first products in 2004, PHUMY has become a national brand, consistently recognized by consumers as a “High-Quality Vietnamese Product” and honored by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the National Brand Program.
