In the morning of February 01, 2018, a team of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) led by Mr. Tran Sy Thanh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Party, Secretary of the Party Union, Chairman of the Members” Council, visited and worked with PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) at Phu My Fertilizer Plant. Among members of the team, there were Mr. Dinh Van Son – Member of the Board of the Group, Mr. Le Manh Hung – Deputy General Director of the Group, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Khang – Deputy General Director of the Group, as well as members of the Party Union, functional departments, and offices of the Group.

Among the BOD of PVFCCo to welcome and work with PVN, there were Mr. Le Cu Tan – Secretary of the Party Union, Chairman, Mr. Doan Van Nhuom – Vice Secretary of the Party Union and President, as well as Heads of the Divisions, Board of Management, Control Board, Management Authority of Phu My Fertilizer Plant, and Party unions of PVFCCo.

At the meeting, on behalf of the BOD of PVFCCo, Mr. Le Cu Tan reported to Mr. Tran Sy Thanh regarding an overview of the foundation and development of PVFCCo, scale and technologies of Phu My Fertilizer Plant, management and development of the Party, and personnel policies, etc. over the past years. Mr. Le Cu Tan also reported on production and business activities in recent years, production and business results in 2017, plans for 2018 and following years, especially regarding the scale and progress of NH3 unit revamp project and Phu My NPK factory project that will officially commence its operations in the second quarter of 2018. At the same time, Mr. Le Cu Tan also suggestd and proposed to Mr. Tran Sy Thanh and other leaders of the Group to continue ensuring the supply of input gas for fertilizer production of PVFCCo and making early gas price quotation when supply is stable.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh acknowledged and praised PVFCCo over the past few years for always being one of the units that have successfully fulfilled their production and business tasks assigned by the Group, adopting good corporate governance, and offering good policies for employees. At the same time, he also noted with the management of PVFCCo that some key tasks in the upcoming time are commencing the operations of NPK Phu My factory early and launching official products, ensuring the effectiveness of the project, enhancing risk management, providing hypothetical scenarios with effective solutions, promoting the research and development of new fertilizer products with efficiency but environment-friendliness, and safety to plant and human health. Also, he proposed that the Board of Management of the Group should develop an official plan to ensure the supply of input gas and gas price for projects of PVFCCo.

Then, PVN visited NPK Phu My Factory and staffs at the Central Control Room of the Phu My Fertilizer plant. Here, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh sent his new-year greetings and wishes of good health and success to all staffs of PVFCCo. At the same time, the BOD of PVFCCo offered Tet gifts of the Group and Party Union of the Group to employees of Phu My Fertilizer Plant.
