On 07 Sep 2012, at Cam Ranh base, two union cells of HQ-011 Dinh Tien Hoang and HQ-012 Ly Thai To frigates under 162 Brigade, Naval Region 4 and two union cells of PVFCCo SE and PVFCCo SW under PVFCCo celebrated the twinning ceremony.
Attendees of the ceremony included Colonel Pham Hoai Nam, Alternate Memmber of the Party Central Executive Committee, Commander of Naval Region 4, Colonel Pham Thanh Hoa, Political Commissar of Naval Region 4, Colonel Tong Xuan Quan, Political Commissar of 162 Brigade, Colonel Nguyen Dinh Hung, Brigade Chief of 162 Brigade, Mr. Hoang Xuan Hung, Former Vice Chairman of Petrovietnam, Mr. Phan Sy Linh, Deputy Secretary of PVN’s Communist Youth Union; Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, Member of PVN’s Party Executive Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, President & CEO of PVFCCo, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Standing member of the Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the PVFCCo‘s BOD along with members from the Party Committee, Steering Committee, Executive Committee of two union cells of HQ -011 Dinh Tien Hoang and Train HQ -012 Ly Thai To frigates, members from the Standing Committee, BOD and management board and leaders and representatives of the Trade Union, Veterans Association, PVFCCo’s member units; leaders from the companies, the Executive Committee and many union members from PVFCCo SE and PVFCCo SW.
This was a very practical initiative to strengthen solidarity between the military and the people and facilitate exchange of experience among youth union members in an effort to fulfil assigned tasks successfully in the spirit of solidarity. The union cells agreed to jointly organize propagation activities for union members and the youth on sea and islands issues, traditional values of Vietnam People”s Navy, Naval Region 4, Naval 162 Brigade, two friagates HQ 011 and HQ 012 as well as traditional values of PVN, PVFCCo and units under direct control; to hold regular sports and culture and arts exchange, visits, donating gifts, scholarship, and newspapers …
To congrat the success of the ceremony and realize the twinning content, in the afternoon and evening of the same day, young union members organized friendly tennis competitions and art performances.
