In the morning of July 16th, 2015, at the headquarters, Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) held the ceremony to disclose the Decision on establishing PVFCCo  Branch – Project Management Board of Fertilizer and Chemicals (Brief name: Project Management Board of Fertilizer and Chemicals) and personnel appointment. The Ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Cu Tan – Secretary of Party Committee & BOD Chairman of PVFCCo.; Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, President & CEO, members of Permanent Party Board, BOD, BOM, leaders of  functional divisions and broadcast live to video-conferencing points of member companies.  

At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Manh Thuan, Head of Human Resources & Training Division released the Decision on establishing the Project Management Board of Fertilizer and Chemicals. This Decision was prompted by work demand for purpose of management of PVFCCo’s activities, especially when PVFCCo is carrying out important projects, such as Phu My NH3 Workshop revamping and NPK Complex. The Project Management Board of Fertilizer and Chemicals will directly manage this complex.

The Ceremony also witnessed the announcement of the personnel appointment decision, as follows: 

• Mr. Le Manh Tai – Manager of NH3 Workshop, Phu My Fertilizer Plant holding the post of Director of Project Management Board of Fertilizer and Chemicals.
• Mr. Duong Hong Phi Vu, Head of Planning & Investment Department of PVFCCo SBD, holding the post of Vice Technical Director – Project Management Board of Fertilizer and Chemicals.
• Mr. Pham Dinh Thuy, Head of Supplies Department of Phu My Fertilizer Plant, holding the post of Vice Sales Director – Project Management Board of Fertilizer and Chemicals 
• Mr. Tran Ngoc Thanh, Main Specialist of Financial – Accounting Division of PVFCCo, holding the post of Chief Accountant – Project Management Board of Fertilizer and Chemicals 

Addressing the Ceremony, Mr. Le Cu Tan re-affirmed the importance of Phu My NH3 Workshop revamping and NPK Complex to the development of PVFCCo, considering the establishment of Project Management Board of Fertilizer and Chemicals as the next step for successful implementation and management of this Complex. The Project Management Board is  tasked to ensure construction with safety, on schedule, on budget and of highest efficiency. Besides, he believed that the newly-appointed officials would try their best to fulfill the tasks assigned by the Project Management Board though they would be very difficult as a result of the new project. He also requested those new officials to obtain, update new knowledge, skills to keep up with requirements of the State and PVFCCo.; he said that leaders in the Project Management should actively make clear assignments between themselves…  

On behalf of newly-appointed officials, Mr. Le Manh Tai expressed thanks to PVFCCo’s leadership and committed to try their best to complete any assigned tasks.
