At 8:00 pm, December 21th, Viet-Xo Labor & Culture Palace (Ha Noi), Nhân Dân News organized a ceremony to grant winning composers of the writing contest on “Agriculture – Farmers – Rural” which was sponsored by PVFCCo.
Distinguished guests attended the ceremony included Mr. Truong Tan Sang – Member of Ministry of Politics, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam; Mr. Dinh The Huynh – Member of Ministry of Politics, Secretary of Central Party, Head of Central Propaganda & Training Board; Mr. Vu Van Ninh – Member of Central Party, Deputy Prime Minister and many other high rank officers of boards, departments and organizations.
On the side of Petrovietnam (PVN) there was Mr. Phung Dinh Thuc – PVN’s Chairman; Mr. Do Minh Hau – PVN’s President & CEO; Mr. Bui Minh Tien – PVFCCo’s Chairman; Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – PVFCCo’s President & CEO.
The program honored the main characters who won high prizes in the writing contest on agriculture, farmers, rural put forward by Nhân Dân News with PVFCCo’s sponsorship.
This contest was promoted to respond the central party executive committee tenth meeting’s resolution on agriculture, farmers and rural. Organizers have picked out 20 most excellent works consisting of 1 “A prize”, 4 “B prizes”, 4 “C prizes” and 11 encouragement prizes. Ms Duong Thi Kieu Nhi – presently working for PVFCCo – South West was the only PVFCCo staff got encouragement prize with an essay titled “FDI capital and agricultural development in South East plain area”.
Delivering speech at the event, President of Vietnam applauded and appreciated the writing contest with topic on “Agriculture, farmers, rural” jointly held by Nhân Dân News and PVN, and expected this contest becoming an annual activity to prosper Vietnamese agriculture. Mr. President has presented flowers to leaders of Peoples News, PVN and PVFCCo for the contest success.
On behalf of organizers, Mr. Thinh Giang – Deputy Editor of Peoples News has launched 2012 contest while PVFCCo keeps playing the sponsor role after the first contest success.
