In the morning of 19 November 2014, Quan The Primary School was inaugurated jointly by PetroVietnam Fertilizer & Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) and the local authority in Phuoc Minh Commune, Thuan Nam District, Ninh Thuan Province.
Attendees of the ceremony included Mr. Vo Van Tien – Chairman of Thuan Nam District People’s Committee; Mr. Le Duc Khai – Deputy Secretary of Thuan Nam District Party Committee, and a representative of PVFCCo’s leaders, Mr. Le Van Quoc Viet – Vice President.
The construction of Quan The Primary School was commenced in June 2014 with the total capital of VND 3.7 billion, of which VND 3.5 billion was from PVFCCo, to be specific, its Social Security Fund for 2013-2014. The construction facility, located on a total area of over 630 m2, includes a 2-storey third-construction-grade building of 8 classrooms. The classrooms are fully equipped with desks, chairs and school utilities for pupils..
Addressing at the ceremony, Mr. Le Van Quoc Viet expressed his confidence that with new premises and enthusiasm, dedication of the teachers, Quan The Primary School would facilitate the teaching and learning and help improve educational quality in the commune.
