On October 11 and in the afternoon of October 12, 2012, PVFCCo SouthWest coordinated with Fire Protection Police Department of Cai Rang District to organize fire drills, training, rescue and salvage at the head office of the Company and Cai Cui port warehouse.
Joining the drill were all staffs of the Company, the police force of Hung Loi Ward and more than 20 soldiers of professional fire fighting force with 4 dedicated fire trucks of Fire Protection Police Department of Cai Rang District.
Firefighting team of the Company used the on-site fire protection facilities like fire extinguishers, fire pumps… to extinguish the fire. The drill was successfully conducted in evacuating people and goods, giving first aid to the injured and moving to the safe place.
By end of the drill, representative from Fire Protection Police Department of Cai Rang District welcomed and praised the spirit of the Company on fire fighting as well as shared the experience to help the fire fighting team be more proactive in handling fire situations to enhance independence in reaction and ensure the security of life and property when problems occur.
The training was organized for the purpose of improving the ability to handle with fire situations at the offices. Thereby helps the staffs enhance awareness, responsibility and operations in fire fighting; to be master and proficient in using available firefighting equipment; and to coordinate closely with professional and on-site fighting forces.
