In the early morning of May 07, the passenger car with licensing plate of 18B – 018.32 (43 passengers on board) and the truck with licensing plate of BKS 77C – 139.37 (2 people on board and drivenby Vo Van Quy) collided on the National Road 14 – section across Chu Se town, Chu Se district, Gia Lai province, resulting in a serious accident, causing 13 deaths and tens of injured persons.
As an expression of its benevolence, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemical Corporation (PVFCCo) extract from its social responsibility fund to grant the families of the dead an amount of 5 million dong each – Total granted amount was 65 million dongs. From the date of the accident until May 27, 2017, the staff of PVFCCo together with local agents and the Red Cross association visited families of the victims, shared their sorrow, and granted money to them. Family members of the victims expressed their sincere thanks to PVFCCo’s timely support and encouragement.
Reportely, most of passengers on the car are farmers in Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Binh Dinh, and Nam Dinh provinces.
