In the framework of the social security program 2014 of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo), on two days July 18th and 19th, 2014, South East PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo SE) cooperated with the Red Cross of Tay Ninh and Binh Phuoc Provinces to carry out “Consulting, examining diseases, and offering medicines and gifts to poor farmers” Program in 03 communes: Thanh Phuoc, Cha La (Tay Ninh) and Thanh Binh (Binh Phuoc).
In the Program, medical advice, disease examination and free medicines were offered to approximately 625 poor farmers, especially those with difficult background. In addition, the management representative of PVFCCo SE awarded 625 gifts to poor farmers. Total budget of the program was VND 125,000,000.
This was the second times that this annual free program had been held in Tay Ninh and Binh Phuoc Provinces aiming to examine health and early detect diseases that farmers are unable to afford the examination and treatment. The Program resulted in positive effects by connecting and promoting the brand image of Phu My fertilizers and demonstrating the shared responsibilities of PVFCCo as well as PVFCCo SE with the farmers.
