In the morning of September 24, 2014, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) in collaboration with the local authority leaders organized the Inauguration ceremony for the projectof Disaster-proof communal house – KhanhPhuPrimary School atKhanhVinhDistrict, KhanhHoaProvince.
Attendees of the ceremony includedMr. Nguyen Dang Lam – ManagingDirector of Central Region Natural Disaster Prevention and Support Fund, Mrs. Hoang Thi Ly – Vice Director of Khanh Hoa Education and Training Department. Mr.Mai Minh Phuong –Vice Director of Central PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company under PVFCCo, also attended the ceremony.
The construction of Disaster-proof communal house– KhanhPhuPrimary Schoolwas started from 04/2014with total investmentofmore thanVND5.3 billion, ofwhich, VND2billion was sponsored by PVFCCo -from the 2014 Social Security Fund of PVFCCo. The building covers an area of 770square meters,including a two-storey block, 8classrooms, and a rescuestaircase for over 400 people in cases of emergency natural disasters.
The operation ofthe Disaster-proof communal house– Khanh Phu Primary School will make positive contributionsto the education development and the protection against loss and damage caused by rains and floods in Khanh Hoa.
