On March 31, 2015, in the morning, representatives of base-level trade union board of Phu My Urea Plant paid a visit to the Children”s Hospital 2 and handed over the gift of 26,1 million dong donated by members of the Youth Union and staff of the Plant to Tran Thi Thuy Kieu, a young girl suffering from a serious disease. Kieu is the daughter of Lieutenant Tran The Anh, who is serving duty at Brigade 162, Zone 4, Naval Force – a sworn brother of base-level trade union of Phu My Urea Plant. This action represented the Plant staff”s spirit of kindness, benevolence, and responsibility – sharing and assistance toward naval soldiers.
As far as we know, Tran Thi Thuy Kieu is being treated at Nephrology Department of Children”s Hospital 2 for Lupus metastasis (a.k.a. septicaemia). She is not very weak and cannot be transfused with others” blood but must be transfused with pure blood at the hospital and the treatment expenses are huge.
