In the morning of October 9, 2013, PVFCCo’s Youth Union in collaboration with PV Trans Youth Union and the Haematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Cho Ray area – Ministry of Health organized the Humanitarian blood donation day at PVFCCo Tower (43 Mac Dinh Chi, District 1, HCMC).
This activity reflected the core valueof PVFCCo’s corporate culture, sharing responsibility with the society and community. The program was attended by Mr. Bui Minh Tien – Chairman of PVFCCo, Mr. Duong Tri Hoi – PVFCCo’s Vice President, Mr. Nguyen Van Tong – PVFCCo’s Vice President, Mr. Hoang Viet Dung – PVFCCo’s Vice President, Mr. Tong Xuan Phong – Chairman of PVFCCo’s Trade Union, leaders of Divisions/Offices, and especially the crowded and enthusiastic employees of PVFCCo, PV Trans, and units working in the building.
Eventually, the program ended with 121 units of blood collected. These blood units will be transferred to the live blood bank at Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City. This is the third consecutive year in which PVFCCo’s Youth Union organizes the humanitarian blood donationprogram and it will be annually maintained to givemany unlucky patients opportunity to retaintheir life.
