“Well-organized and professionally staged with elaborate and impressive performances…” were beautiful remarks appraised by the Board of Examiners (People’s Artist Kim Quy, Meritorious Artist Quynh Lien, and Musician Tran Xuan Tien) for the 7th Music Contest “Singing for Bountiful Harvest” held by Executive Board of Trade Union of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) in Vung Tau City on August 26, 2017.
The Festival was a practical event to welcome the upcoming anniversary of the National Day September 02, Oil and Gas Culture Week, 42nd anniversary of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group”s Foundation Day (September 03, 1975 – September 03, 2017), and 13th anniversary of PVFCCo”s Traditional Day (September 21, 2004 – September 21, 2017). The Festival was attended by Mr. Tran Ngoc Dung – Vice Chairman of PetroVietnam Trade Union; Mr. Le Cu Tan – Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of PVFCCo; Mr. Doan Van Nhuom – President & CEO of PVFCCo; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien – Vice Chairwoman of PVFCCo; members of the Executive Committee of the Party Union of PVFCCo, Board of Directors, Board of Management, and Supervisory Board; leadership of members and division/departments of PVFCCo.; and, especially, 10 teams as well as over 500 audience as employees of PVFCCo.
In his opening speech, Mr. Tong Xuan Phong – Chairman of PVFCCo Trade Union – said that thanks to the attention given by leadership of PVFCCo, all of the employees” lives were cared for not only in material, but also in spiritual aspects, and this was always maintained and improved by Trade Union Executive Committee. Such caring for spiritual and cultural life of the employees has created a strong motivation for them, as a result, promoting the businesses of PVFCCo, as well as further building up strong culture of PVFCCo.
The 7th Music Contest “Singing for Bountiful Harvest” of 2017 was held with nearly 50 elaborately, professionally and impressively staged performances covering various themes: praising the glorious Party and beloved Uncle Ho, praising the love for homeland, sea and islands, oil and gas industry, agriculture and rural land, etc. All of these were well harmonized together to become a magnificent “symphony”, embracing the message of political duties and production and business activities, the love of the homeland, and PVFCCo”s companion with farmers. The messages in that “symphony” were appraised with beautiful words by the Board of Examiners for great performance, such as “Sac Forest Warriors” modern dance, which reminded of the soldiers for Sac Forest special mission, performed by the team of SouthEast PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo SE); “Cross the Sea” performance by the team of Phu My Urea Plant 2, etc. All of performances were so impressive and satisfactory to the Board of Examiners and nearly 500 audiences that attended and cheered for the Festival!
In that evening, speaking at the show and ending ceremony, Mr. Le Cu Tan expressed his appraisal for all of PVFCCo employees” “forward moving” spirit, not only in business activities but also in “spiritual front”, all over the seven “Singing for Bountiful Harvest” festivals. He also expressed his wish that this Festival would help the employees of PVFCCo further enhance their spirit of union and mutual understanding so that together they could accomplish their assigned business tasks!
At the end of the Festival, the Board of Examiners elected 14 Gold prizes, 14 Silver prizes, 15 Bronze prizes, and 2 separate prizes to award for remarkable performances. The Board of Examiners awarded 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes and 3 Consolation prizes on the following teams:
– 1 Special Prize: South East PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo SE);
– 1 First Prize: Phu My Urea Plant 2;
– 2 Second Prizes: North PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo North) and Head-office 1;
– 3 Third Prizes: Dam Phu My Packaging Joint Stock Company, Phu My Urea Plant 1, and PetroChemical Business Branch;
– 3 Consolation Prizes: Central PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo Central), Head-office 2, and SouthWest PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo SW).
