Recently, the media has reported news on the difficult family circumstance of Senor Lieutenant Nguyen Van Hoang, who is currently working at combat complex I, Spratly Island. Their child suffers from innate anaemia and must be brought to Ho Chi Minh City every month for blood transfusion, the cost of medical treatment for the child is very high.
In the afternoon of October 23, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) in collaboration with the Association for Protection of Children”s Rights visited and encouraged the family of Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Hoang at the Central Blood Transfusion and Hematology Institute. Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Thao, Chairwoman of Trade Union on behalf of PVFCCo presented the family VND 50 million to cover hospital fees. This gift is considered as a very practical act, expressing the care for soldiers on duty at Spratly Islands so that they feel at ease to fulfill their glorious task of defending the sea and island sovereignty of the country.
