In two days, May 15-16, 2015, Trade Union of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) held a training session on trade union operations for nearly 90 union officers of the Corporation.
During the session, Union officers were instructed about how to organize an interim conference of the Trade Union at various levels and some new articles of Vietnam Trade Union”s Charter and Trade Union Law of Vietnam, as revised, by comrade Phan Van Son – Principal Lecturer, Head of the Department of Regular Training, Hanoi Trade Union University. Then, they listened to the announcement of the implementation plan and solutions to perform the tasks in the last 6 months of 2015 by the comrade Ton Xuan Phong – President of Trade Union of the Corporation.
The session was also an opportunity for union officers of the Corporation to meet, discuss, and exchange experience to build up a strong Trade Union so as to become the link among laborers at PVFCCo. Besides the training session, union officers also participated in teamwork activities and sport games such as rowing, pig-hitting, fruit-carrying over monkey bridge, Western Beauty Contest, Canal-bailing and Fish-catching, etc.
