On Januaray 17, 2013, PVFCCo in coordination with Petrotimes and Provincial Public Security of Lai Chau Province organized to give Tet gifts to the poor, the disabled, Agent Orange victims, poor families under preferential treatment policy in the two communes: Dao San and Tung Qua Lin, the Continuing Education Center (Phong Tho District) and a number of communes in Muong Te District.
Attending the ceremony, from local authorities were Mr. Ta Phuc Ruc – Deputy Head of the Political Action Committee of Lai Chau Public Security, Mr. Vang A Chinh – Vice Chairman of Tong Qua Lin Commune; from PVFCCo and Petrotimes were Mr. Bui Quang Hung – Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Phong – Editor-in-chief of Petrotimes.
At the conference, Mr. Bui Quang Hung presented 150 gift sets including blankets, cooking oil and confectioneries to the Mong ethnic people living in Tong Qua Lin Commune, and 50 gift sets to the ethnic boarding high school Dao San. The gifts had a total value of 60 million dongs.
This was a magnanimous deed of PVFCCo’s leaders and employees as well as PVN’s member companies sharing difficulties with the poor in Lai Chau Province on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2013.
