On May 26, 2013, under the consideration of the Corporate leadership and in order to foster the spirit of “mutual love and support”, sharing and providing support to the poor, the Trade Union and Youth Union of the Central PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo Central) in collaboration with the Kong Chro District Red Cross visited and donated gifts to underprivileged families of Ms. Dinh Thi Nguyen and Ms. B’Roch at An Trung Commune, Kong Chro District, Gia Lai Province.
The mission offered each family gifts with value of VND 4 million per gift including clothes, rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, noodle, sugar and milk. These gifts were donated by PVFCCo staffs and from the Corporate’s fund “Mutual love and support” with the wish to partly share and reduce these two families’ difficulties.
Reportedly, the families of Ms. Dinh Thi Nguyen and Ms. B’Roch have many children, none of them has chance to attend classes, being malnourished due to their food shortages. Ms. Dinh Thi Nguyen’s eldest son, 13 years old, has to graze cattle to pay debt from his farther’s funeral under the minority’s custom. Two families, sufferring from early death of husbands, food and clothing shortages, jobless, have no valuable assets, and live in temporary shelters on fields.
