In the morning on April 26, 2017, the Labour Union of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo) held Extensive Executive Board Meeting at the Office of the Corporation. Among the attendants at the Meeting, there were comrade Doan Van Nhuom – Vice Secretary of the Party Union, CEO& President of PVFCCo; comrade Tong Xuan Phong – Chairman of the Labour Union of the Corporation; as well as members of the Executive Board of Labour Union of the Corporation, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the Labour Unions of the subsidiaries, Members of the Supervisory Committee, and members of the Specialized Committees of Labour Union of the Corporation.

At the Meeting, the deputies listened to the report of activities of Labour Union of the Corporation for Quarter I, 2017, approvedthe drafts of orientations for activities in 2017; the organization plans for the Action Month for Labour Safety and Hygiene and the Month of Workers; the organization plans for Online Contests of Labour Safety and Hygiene, Fire and Explosion Prevention, Traffic Safety, and Food Safety and Hygiene; the organization plan for Performance Contest;  and the organization plan for Labour Union General Meeting.

Accordingly, in 2017, the Labour Union of the Corporation will focus its efforts in communicating and motivating the Employees to properly comply with the guidelines and policies of the Party, regulations of Laws and the State, internal rules and regulations,tasks, as well as challenges and difficulties faced by the Corporation and its subsidiaries in 2017 and in the upcoming time; Promoting combined strengths and efforts of the employees for “Promotion of initiatives and technical improvements”, “Assurance of labour safety and hygiene”, and “Adoption of waste prevention and saving practices”, in order to accomplish successfully the tasks and plans for 2017; To protect legitimate rights and interests of the employees; To care about the employees” living standards and assure their stable employment and sources of income; To keepand promotecommunity movements and social activities for benevolence and charity purposes among the staff and employees; and to innovate the approaches at the workplace and develop a strong and solid labour union with a dedicated, highly qualified, and compassionate staff of officers and members.

At the Meeting, comrade Doan Van Nhuom and comrade Tong Xuan Phong directly held a periodic dialogue with other comrade members of the Executive Board of the Labour Union, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of labour unions of the subsidiaries, as well as members of the Supervisory Committee on employees” aspirations.
