On February 07, 2013 at Neighborhood no. 5, Ward 9, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province took place the opening ceremony and handover of the 340m long route for students going to school.
This is a sponsorship agreement between PVFCCo, the Management of Construction Investment projects of My Tho City, Tien Giang Province and PVFCCo SBD. Attending the ceremony from the province’s leaders were Mr. Huynh Van Nguyen – Deputy Director of Transport department of the province, Mr. Mai Thanh Minh – Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of My Tho City; from PVFFo were Mr. Tran Van Dao – Party Secretary cum Chairman of the PVFCCo SBD’s Board of Directors with representatives from the corporation and media agencies in Tien Giang Province.
The route had been constructed from January 01, 2013 to February 06, 2013 with the total value of 2.1 billion dongs deducted from the Social Security’s fund of PVFCCo. It was put into use in the excitement of local people and is the important road for the students of Au Duong Lan elementary school in My Tho City to go to school.
