After two days of competition, in the afternoon of June 6, the Closing ceremony of 2013 Public Arts Festival took place with many art items performed publicly. The outstanding performances were awarded, closing the Festival in exciting atmosphere. The PetroVietnam Trade Union won the first prize for team competition with four Gold prizes and two Silver prizes.
Attending this Festival were 14 public arts groups with over 700 contestants from the Central Trade Union, the Corporation Trade Union under the General Confederation, representing for millions of Vietnamese laborers working in many different economic sectors.
Also in this Festival, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour called to support the program “The fishnet of affection towards fishermen in Hoang Sa, Truong Sa”. Up to now, the support amounts have reached VND 1.4 billions, excluding the amounts via SMS. Of which, The PetroVietnam Trade Union supported VND 200 millions, the Russian – Vietnamese joint venture (Vietsovpetro) supported VND 100 millions, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation’s Trade Union and Oil and Gas Exploration and Exploitation Corporation’s Trade Union supported VND 50 millions, VND 20 millions respectively.
