On 16th of September, in response to the appeal of Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee, leaders of PetroVietnam (PVN) circulated a working document to mobilize PVN’s employees and workers to support the “Connecting the East Sea” campaign by sending SMS.
Accordingly, PVN’s leaders suggested employees and workers to send text messages (worth 10,000 VND each) via 1400 as a kind of support for the above mentioned campaign. Here’s how to make the SMS: BD or BIENDONG send 1400.
This program aims at encouraging the fishermen to continue their operation in the sea, in order to develop local economy and safeguard Vietnam ’s sea and island sovereignty. This campaign has been co-organized by Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Red Cross and Vietnam Television from September 15 to October 14, 2013
