Petrotimes – In the morning of 10/06, the vessel HQ-571 landed at Cat Lai Port, Ho Chi Minh City, ending the meaningful journey titled “Youth for homeland seas and islands” in 2012 after 12 days and nights with mileage of over 1,200 nautical miles.
Message of this year journey: “Entrepreneurs out for seas, students out for islands,” represents the sentiment and care from the youth and the people onshore toward compatriots and soldiers living and doing their duties at homeland seas and islands.
The task force of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam – PVN), consisting of 35 members from several subsidiaries of PVN led by Tran Thi Phuong Thao, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairwoman of Trade Union of Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo). During 12 days of work, the delegation visited Spratly Island (Truong Sa islands), Central London Reef, Pearson Reef, Ladd Reef, West London Reef, Alison Reef, Cornwallis South Reef, Pigeon Reef, Barque Canada Reef, Amboyna Cay and DK1/20, DK1/21 platforms.
