On March 31, 2011, first overall maintenance service contract for Dung Quat oil refinery plant was signed by, and between Mr. Nguyen Hoai Giang – CEO of Binh Son petrochemical refinery company (Petrovietnam National Oil and Gas Group) and Mr. Kim Hyeong Sin – Director of Ubec company (Korea) on behalf of the two above companies’ leaders with the total contract value of USD 25 million at Binh Son petrochemical refinery company’s office. 
After two years of effective operation since its first product line launched on February 22, 2009, it’s time for Dung Quat oil refinery plant to be thoroughly evaluated & inspected to make timely & sound conversion, modification, and maintenance of its all machine, equipment, workshops…The maintenance contractor will strictly follow maintenance regulations in accordance with EPC contract. This maintenance service contract attracts thousands of local & global experts and workers to participate in and within 2 months of estimated period, which is expected to kick off at middle July 2011. Up to March 30th 2011, Dung Quat oil refinery plan has imported 125 shipments of 9.82 million tons of crude oil, then produced and traded an amount of 8.52 million tons of which are 8.43 million tons of petroleum of all kinds, and 90,000 tons of polypropylene product.
