On 15:00 pm, November 9th 2011, Petrovietnam (PVN) hosted the “three year-review conference on crime preventing and combating cooperative regulation” between PVN and the Bureau of Police on crime prevention and combating under the Ministry of Public Security. At the meeting, there were Major-General Phan Van Vinh – Secretary of Party Committee, General Director of the Bureau, Mr. Phung Dinh Thuc – Chairman of PVN’s Board of Management, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – PVFCCo’s CEO & President as well as PVFCCo Board of Directors. The attendees listened and considered the preliminary report on crime prevention and combating cooperative regulation between two organizations and unanimously signed a new cooperation regulations between PVN and the General Bureau of Police on crime prevention and combating. On this occasion, PVFCCo and C46 also signed a cooperative regulations.
At the conference, representatives from both parties have made comments and suggestions about coordinative inspection, control and management process. In addition to coordinating their tasks, both forces were encouraged to focus on advancing the coordination of information exchange, professional training, staff-management human resource, internal security; detection, information exchange and rectification of negative internal problems, loopholes and shortcomings in the mission implementation process; advice and consulting for the Party committees, local authorities in the field of functions, duties as well as powers assigned. Although accomplishing rather good performance, both parties agreed that the coordination should be actively promoted in the next periods. In some locality, exchange of professional information has not been done regularly, the coordination of professional training need to be considered, increase inspection on and urge for regulation compliance.
The meeting witnessed the General Bureau of Police decision to commend and reward five groups, six individuals of Petrovietnam Oil and Gas Group including Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo), Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas), Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC), project management board of Dung Quat oil refinery factory, Joint venture VIETSOVPETRO (VSP) and four groups, four individuals under the General Bureau of Police on crime prevention and combating; in which Mr. Tu Cuong – Deputy General Director of PVFCCo has received the personal commendation decision and Mr. Le Quoc received this reward decision on behalf of PVFCCo.
