In the morning of 03 October 2014, Mr. Michel Prud’Homme, Senior Director of the Production and International Trade Committee of the International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA), visited and joined a workshop with PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo). The mentioned workshop, joined by Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – PVFCCo’s President & CEO, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hien – Vice Chairwoman, members of the BOD, Board of Management, representatives of specialized departments, was broadcast live to PVFCCo’s affiliates.Additional attendant included Mr. Hoang Trong Dung – PVCFC’s Deputy Director.
In the workshop, an overview on the global fertilizer supply and demand was presented by Mr. Michel Prud”Homme. His presentation provided practical information on the policies affecting the prospects of global fertilizer demand; the prospects of agriculture and biofuel production; short, medium and long-term forecasts on the global fertilizer demand; general situation of fertilizer supply acceleration projects. Mr. Michel Prud”Homme also involved in the discussion and Q&A sessions of the workshop.
The International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA) is known as a prestigious international organization with nearly 600 member companies from over 80 countries, mostly big companies involving in fertilizer trading and production, including PVFCCo.
