On July 30, 2013, in Quy Nhon City of Binh Dinh Province, Thua Thien Hue Province Red Cross Society visited and worked with the Central Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo Central).
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung – Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Province Red Cross Society emphasized that the visit was intended as a fact finding trip to PVFCCo Central – the sponsor that has many times organized and coordinated the implementation of many social welfare programs in Thua Thien Hue area. Also, he discussed issues related to social welfare activities and expressed the wish for more supports and sponsorship from PVFCCo Central in the future.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung also expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for the social welfare programs held by PVFCCo Central in Thua Thien Hue province over the years, especially the Agent Orange victim relief program and the “Tet for the Poor” program during the Lunar New Year.
At the meeting, PVFCCo Central’s representatives thanked and appreciated the cooperation and collaboration of Thua Thien Hue Province Red Cross Society in the past, as well as affirmed to remain accompanying the Society in the latter’s local social welfare activities; especially, in the coming program “Appeasing the orange pains” in the action month “For Agent Orange victims and the poor disabled” from August 3 to 9, 2013.
