In the framework of the work program with a number of leading, typical fertilizer producers in the country, in the afternoon of May 22, 2018, PVFCCo was honorable to welcome the Task Force of Plant Protection Department to visit and work with PVFCCo at its Office and the Plant.
The Task Force was led by Mr. Hoang Trung – Director of Plant Protection Department, as well as the managers of Fertilizer Control Department and the Center for Post-Import Plant Quarantine. On behalf of PVFCCo, Mr. Doan Van Nhuom – President and CEO, and Mrs. Le Thi Thu Huong – Vice President of PVFCCo, together with the executives of the Plant and functional departments of PVFCCo, welcomed and worked with the Task Force.
The purpose of this visit was to conduct an initial visit and listen to PVFCCo”s opinions with a focus on the development of organic fertilizers. PVFCCo reported to the Task Force of its recent business situation and performance and its attention and focus on the investment in and diversification of organic fertilizers, and recommended a number of solutions to facilitate favorable conditions for long-term development of organic fertilizer production sector. After the meeting at the Office of PVFCCo, the Task Force had a field visit to the Plant to witness Phu My Urea and Phu My NPK production line using chemical technologies.
On behalf of the Task Force, Mr. Hoang Trung – Director of Plant Protection Department, appraised PVFCCo”s scale investment, operating model, advanced administration, modern production line and technology, compliance with law, and environmental protection practices, and appreciated PVFCCo as the leader and typical example in fertilizer industry, especially in the area of organic fertilizers. The Task Force also acknowledged the attention and useful recommendations of PVFCCo regarding the development of organic fertilizers, one of essential trends in fertilizer and agricultural sector. Currently, major fertilizer manufacturers are undergoing fundamental changes and making significant investment in organic fertilizers, which is also one of policies recommended by the Government and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to promote organic fertilizer development in Vietnam.
