The PVFCCo’s Conference of Personnel organization and Training in 2012: breakthrough needed

The PVFCCo’s Conference of Personnel organization opened at 8:30 am on November 23, 2012, at the Rex hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and ended at around 12:00 pm the same day. Attending the conference were Mr. Bui Minh Tien – Chairman of PVFCCo, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – President & CEO, as well as members of the Party Standing Committee, Board of Directors, Board of Management, Board of Supervisors, leaders of divisions and subsidiaries under PVFCCo.
In the conference’s opening speech, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong affirmed that in the past time the personnel organization had significantly contributed to the development process of PVFCCo and attracted real qualified and capable labor to work for PVFCCo. He also raised 4 issues to be discussed at the conference: first, improve the quality of personnel work focusing on the contents of assessment, planning, training, arrangement and use of personnel; second, efficient management and use of human resources; third, continue to improve salary policy in order to attract and retain highly qualified and skilled labor force and also ensure market factors; fourth, renew training for quality and efficiency improvements.
After Mr. Cao Hoai Duong’s speech, Mr. Le Van Quoc Viet presented his summary on both strengths and existing shortcomings that must be overcome in personnel organization – training, salary and bonus policy of PVFCCo in the past years as well as recommended planning and improvements in the future. The performances that have achieved PVFCCo over the past years are not less, such as: high unity and solidarity in the leadership of the BOD, BOM regarding direction and orientation of production – business and business responsibility with community. What particularly important that made the successes above-mentioned were the intellectual and manual contributions of the entire employees of PVFCCo.
In the conference’s conclusion speech, Mr. Bui Minh Tien said that in the next time, PVFCCo would also face many difficulties and tough competition in business – production, requiring innovation and breakthrough of personnel organization and training to make one step ahead. To keep on sustainable development, he recommended PVFCCo to focus on some key tasks, such as: keep following up in order to implement successfully “The strategy of human resources training and development for the period 2012 – 2015 and orientations towards 2025; breakthrough solutions to develop PVFCCo’s human resources”; direction contents of the Group, Party Committee and the BOD of PVFCCo regarding personnel organization and training, human resources development of PVFCCo; reorganize and improve labor efficiency and salary management; strengthen the Party Committee leadership at all levels, take initiative in direction, management, administration of the BOD and department heads at all levels in personnel work; research, supplement, amend the PVFCCo’s Regulation of personnel work; improve method and process of doing personnel work to increase efficiency of stages: assessment, planning, training, arrangement and effective use of personnel.
Mr. Bui Minh Tien appealed to the entire leadership of PVFCCo, divisions and subsidiaries, unit members, personnel organization and training teams of PVFCCo for continuing to bring into play the sense of responsibility, make great efforts, well perform key tasks above-mentioned, and contribute to the sustainable development of PVFCCo.
