On January 25, 2024, at the headquarters of the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo), a ceremony was solemnly held to announce and issue decisions regarding the personnel affairs of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) and the Board of Directors of PVFCCo to complete the leadership positions of PVFCCo.
Decisions were handed out and congratulations were extended to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa and Phan Cong Thanh.
Attending the ceremony from Petrovietnam were Mr. Le Manh Hung – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors, President & CEO of the PVN;
Mr. Bui Minh Tien – Member of the Party Committee’s Standing Board, Member of PVN Board of Directors;
Mr. Le Xuan Huyen – Member of the Party Committee’s Standing Board, Deputy General Director in charge of PVN’s Executive Board,
Mr. Tran Binh Minh – Member of PVN’s Board of Directors, along with leaders of PVN’s specialized departments.
Mr. Le Manh Hung delivered a speech at the ceremony.
From PVFCCo, Mr. Tran Thi Phuong Thao – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director of PVFCCo;
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh – Member of PVFCCo’s Board of Directors in charge of PVFCCo’s Board of Directors;
Mr. Dao Van Ngoc – Deputy General Director of PVFCCo, and other Party Committee members, Board of Directors, Board of Directors, and key officials of PVFCCo were present.
The ceremony was also attended by leaders of partner units such as PV GAS, PVChem, PVI, and notably, the presence of Mr.s Nguyen Xuan Hoa and Phan Cong Thanh, who were appointed at the ceremony.

During the ceremony, Mr. Phan Anh Minh – Head of the Party Committee’s Organization, Head of PVN’s Human Resources Management Board, delegated the authority to announce the decisions of PVN’s Party Committee and PVN’s Council of Members. Accordingly, PVN’s Party Committee appointed Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa to join the Party Committee’s Standing Board, the Party Committee’s Standing Board, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of PVFCCo; appointed Mr. Phan Cong Thanh to join the Party Committee’s Standing Board, the Party Committee’s Standing Board, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of PVFCCo; decided to delegate the management of PVN’s capital contribution at PVFCCo to Mr.s Nguyen Xuan Hoa, Phan Cong Thanh, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, and Trinh Van Khiem.
Next, Mr. Nguyen Cao Khai, Head of PVN’s Organization, Personnel, and Training Department, delegated the authority to announce the Decision of PVFCCo’s Board of Directors to relieve the duty of overseeing the Executive Board from Mr. Dao Van Ngoc – Deputy General Director of PVFCCo and announced the Decision to appoint Mr. Phan Cong Thanh to hold the position of General Director of PVFCCo.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Manh Hung – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of PVN, acknowledged and highly appreciated the tradition and positive contributions of PVFCCo in more than 20 years of formation and development to the overall development of PVN and the agricultural and food security of the country. Directing and assigning tasks to the newly appointed leaders as well as the entire PVFCCo team, Mr. Le Manh Hung expressed confidence that, with their capabilities and experience in working at various units within PVN, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa and Mr.Phan Cong Thanh would consider PVFCCo as their home. They are expected to leverage their abilities, intelligence, and dedication to promptly stabilize the organization and production and lead the PVFCCo team to fulfill their assigned tasks to the best of their abilities.

Mr. Le Manh Hung hoped that the entire PVFCCo leadership and workforce would continue to unite with the motto of “one team, one goal” to collaborate and support the newly appointed leaders, working together to overcome challenges and further develop, continuing the proud tradition of PVFCCo and meeting the expectations of PVN, employees, and especially the predecessors who contributed to the construction and development of PVFCCo. Mr. emphasized the need for PVFCCo to focus on building a corporate culture with two key focuses: sincere unity and building a team, carrying out personnel work genuinely, objectively, and transparently to motivate the entire team and drive development for PVFCCo.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa – Secretary of the Party Committee of PVN, and Mr. Phan Cong Thanh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of PVN, expressed profound gratitude to PVN’s leadership as well as PVFCCo for entrusting them with new responsibilities at PVFCCo. They committed to earnestly absorbing all the guidance from Mr. Le Manh Hung and PVN’s leadership, pledging with all their dedication and effort, along with the entire PVFCCo team, to promptly and diligently engage in their tasks, unity, solidarity, and joint efforts to propose and implement short, medium, and long-term solutions to help PVFCCo overcome challenges and continue its development trajectory.

At the ceremony, PVN’s leadership also presented flowers to express gratitude and recognize the contributions of Mr.s Tran Thi Phuong Thao and Dao Van Ngoc during their tenure overseeing the Party Committee and the Executive Board, ensuring smooth and stable operations.
