In two days, June 06 to June 07, 2018, North PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo North) successfully organized the summary conference on results of the demonstration model on use of Phu My Fertilizers on rice and watermelon in 2018 Spring crop in Hai Hung commune, Hai Hau district, Nam Dinh province and Cong Hoa commune, Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province. The conference was attended by representatives of Nam Dinh Agricultural Promotion Center, representatives of Level-1 Distributors – Cuong Lien Agricultural Material Co., Ltd., Phong Trang Trading Co., Ltd., as well as local governments and farmers.

The demonstration model was performed on Du Huong rice variety and Hoan Chau watermelon variety on the scale of 1 ha, using Phu My fertilizers in combination with “pest and disease prevention by natural enemies and paddy fields” method. The goal of the model is to help farmers understand the process of using Phu My fertilizers in a balanced and reasonable manner in caring for plants, increasing productivity, improving economic performance and protecting ecological environment and public health by using plant crops to repel harmful insects

At the conference, farmers were invited to visit model fields and share experience, exchange knowledge on using Phu My fertilizer products effectively and in compliance with local land conditions. According to local agricultural promotion officers” opinions, the demonstration model on use of Phu My fertilizers helps better increase plant productivity, make hard seeds, enhance disease resistance and economic performance than those of the field not used with Phu My Fertilizers. The model has been highly appraised by local authorities and farmers, who expect to repeat such demonstration models and conferences on transfer of agricultural techniques regarding other plants in the provinces. Besides, the representative of PVFCCo North also introduced Phu My fertilizer products, brand identity, and distribution network to farmers in Northern region.

At the end of the program, local agricultural promotion officers affirmed the quality of Phu My fertilizer products and encouraged gardeners and farmers to use these products for the upcoming crops to increase plant productivity and enhance economic performance.
