On 7th and 8th June 2016, a member company of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) – PVFCCo North held a Conference summarizing the presentation model of Phu My fertilizers on “Bac Thom No. 7″ rice variety in the Spring Crop 2016 at Nghia Chau Commune, Nghia Hung, Nam Dinh and at Yen Loc Commune, Kim Son, Ninh Binh. The Conference was attended by representatives of local leadership, Farmers” Union, the Provincial Agricultural and Fishery Extension Centre and numerous local farmers.
The model was carried out on an area of nearly 02 ha/model with “Bac Thom No. 7″ rice variety, in accordance with the planting and fertilizing process of the Provincial Agricultural Extension Centres, recommending the use of Phu My Fertilizer products, as follows: Phu My Urea, Phu My Kali, Phu My NPK 16-16-8+13S+TE, the growth phase from seeding to harvesting is 137 days. The report of representatives of Agricultural Extension Centres of Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh provinces on the models” summarized results affirmed: The presentation model of Phu My fertilizers helped rice grow and develop well, tolerate pests and diseases, develop branches strongly, with highly effective grain ratio, with the yield at Nam Dinh Province reaching over 55 quintals/ha (yield output and economic efficiency increased by 11.2% and VND 2.9 million/ha, respectively) and at Ninh Binh: 64 quintals/ha (yield output and economic efficiency increased by 7% and approx. VND 2.1 million/ha, respectively) as compared with comparative fields used other fertilizers and planted according to farmers” traditional practice. Simultaneously, the use of Phu My fertilizers helps strengthen rice with better resistance against pests and diseases, reducing labor work in cultivation with fewer pesticide sprays. It is also time-saving and cost-saving, contributing to the mitigation of environmental pollution.
Speaking at the program”s summary ceremony, on behalf of the local authorities, Mr. Pham Van Phan – Secretary of Yen Loc Commune and Mr. Nguyen Van Quang – Chairman of Nghia Chau Co-operative Farm affirmed the model’s efficiency and rated Phu My Fertilizer Products as prestigious products of high quality on the market. They urged farmers to apply not only to rice but also to other plants for high economic benefits.
