In the morning of 29 July 2016, at PVFCCo”s headquarter, the Trade Union of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) held the Conference on preliminary summary of the first 6 months and the third periodic dialogue of 2016.

Attendees, from PetroVietnam Trade Union, included Mr. Tran Ngoc Dung – Permanent Vice Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Van Sy – Deputy Head of Legal Policy Committee. On the part of PVFCCo”s leadership, there were Mr. Le Cu Tan – Member of PVN”s Party Committee, Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman, Mr. Doan Van Nhuom – Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, President & CEO, Mr. Tong Xuan Phong – Trade Union”s Chairman, members of the Board of Management, leaders of organizations and unions, members of Trade Union”s Executive Committee, members of the Supervisory Board and Functional Divisions, Trade Union”s Sub-Committees, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of component trade unions, members of Regular Dialogue Committee and dedicated trade union officials.

After the opening ceremony, the Conference became exciting with the third Periodic Dialogue Program between the Employer and Employees, led by Mr. Doan Van Nhuom and Mr. Tong Xuan Phong. Numerous questions on Employees and Remuneration policies and so on raised by employees were satisfactorily answered by Mr. Doan Van Nhuom – President & CEO, representative of the Employer.

After the Dialogue, PVFCCo”s Trade Union made a preliminary summary of the first 6 months activities and communicated tasks of the second 6 months of 2016. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung – Trade Union”s Vice Chairman presented the preliminary summary report of the first half and the action plan of the second half of 2016 to the Conference. The Trade Union”s Report gave an overview of achievements of the Trade Union and activities required further improvement in the second half of the year. Especially, so far PVFCCo”s Trade Union has received  approx. 100 registrations of initiatives on technical improvements aimed at reducing cost and boosting efficiency in production and business, etc.

Several useful reports of representatives of component Trade Unions and evaluation on achievement and failure were also presented at the Conference. Meanwhile, solutions and hands-on experiences were raised in order to enhance the role and effectiveness of Trade Union”s activities namely initiative movements, technical improvements, production rationalization, etc.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Cu Tan highly appreciated the role and contributions of PVFCCo”s Trade Union and its component trade unions to the achievements of PVFCCo over the past few years. Mr. Le Cu Tan also wished PVFCCo”s Trade Union to improve further its role, making contribution to not only economic achievements of PVFCCo, but also to the care for employees. 

At the Conference, Mr. Tran Ngoc Dung congratulated PVFCCo”s Trade Union on the 87th anniversary date of Trade Union (28 July 1929 – 28 July 2016). Mr. Tran Ngoc Dung also praised substantial contributions of PVFCCo’s Trade Union to PVFCCo in particular and to PVN”s Trade Union in general.

In the closing of the Conference, Mr. Tong Xuan Phong – Chairman of PVFCCo’s Trade Union expressed his gratitude to PVN’s Trade Union and PVFCCo”s leaders for their special care for PVFCCo”s Trade Union. Mr. Tong Xuan Phong affirmed that  accomplishments of PVFCCo’s Trade Union were first attributed to efforts of Trade Unions in PVFCCo”s Office Division, component trade unions, etc. and especially the favorable conditions created for Trade Union”s activities by PVFCCo”s leaders.

Also at the Conference, the Executive Committee of PVFCCo’s Trade Union was strengthened and supplemented through voting with Ms. Phan Thi Tuyet Minh – Chairwoman of PVFCCo Central’s Trade Union and Mr. Chau Minh Hiep – Chairman of PVFCCo South West’s Trade Union to the Executive Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Ngoc – Member of Office Trade Union to the Organization Committee of PVFCCo’s Trade Union Office.
